The most common side effects are drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nervousness, irritability, nausea, vomiting and stomach upset.

Kidney and Liver Disease: The side effects may be more likely due to potential for higher blood levels of Skelaxin. Depending on the severity of your condition, your doctor may need to adjust your dosage. Patients with liver disease should limit their intake of acetaminophen as it may lead to further liver damage.
Patients over 65 years old: Dosing should be more conservative as drug effects may be more pronounced due to medical conditions and other multiple drug therapy.
Do NOT share your Skelaxin prescription with others, this can be a very dangerous practice.
